I dedicate this inaugural blog post to my family. This picture of my husband and son is a couple years old but is Exhibit A (of many) depicting the antics that happen at home when I'm working in the studio.
Everything shown on the pages of this site would not be possible without the encouragement, patience and love these two have given me.
I'm keenly aware of the tight rope many artists walk to simply make their work. It often doesn't happen without a ramen noodle diet, a side job (often in an unrelated field) or a super supportive partner. Though I do juggle a couple other jobs & volunteer work, I am so grateful that it's all in the name of this craft that I love: metalsmithing.
I hope you enjoy exploring my site. I'm really proud of this work and excited to be sharing it with you.
I owe a special thank you to the talented designer of this site and my logo: Bryan Collins. Please contact him at www.unvisible.com, and he'll set you straight.
